The TWAIN Working Group subsequently submitted a project supporting OIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first project, \u201cAI-Powered Document Routing and Monetization Analytics,\u201d will be developed by an ASU student team under the direction of Handoyo Sutanto, founder and CEO of Lyrid. The project will explore AI and imaging technologies and produce a proof of concept with potential real-world business applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI really enjoy teaching and mentoring students,\u201d said Sutanto. \u201cThis is a great opportunity to work with talented students on a real-world technology challenge and help them understand not only the technology, but how it can create value for a business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collaboration demonstrates the power of corporate\u2013academia partnerships, giving students practical experience while introducing emerging talent to companies and technologies shaping the future of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mike Stramaglio, president of Stramaglio Consulting, sees the initiative as an opportunity to leverage the broader ecosystem to benefit both students and industry. \u201cI\u2019m excited about leveraging the ecosystem we\u2019ve built to do some good,\u201d he said. \u201cStudents get meaningful, real-world projects they can use to demonstrate their capabilities, while companies get an opportunity to discover and engage with the next generation of talent.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stramaglio also created the <a href=\"https:\/\/ecsnetwork.tech\/talent-zone\/\">Talent Zone<\/a>, a free matchmaking service connecting job seekers with companies looking for talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See the ASU Capstone Students\u2019 Work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Early versions of the ASU student projects will be shared at the TWAIN Converge Conference, Nov. 11\u201312, in Safety Harbor, Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional and final ASU Capstone projects will be showcased at the Executive Connection Summit 2027, February 28\u2013March 3, 2027, in Scottsdale, Arizona, providing industry leaders with an opportunity to see firsthand how students are applying AI, imaging, IoT and robotics to real-world business challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collaboration is expected to lead to additional student projects supporting OIT initiatives across AI, imaging, interoperability, IoT and robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>###<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the TWAIN Working Group<\/strong><br>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twain.org\">TWAIN Working Group<\/a> is a nonprofit industry organization dedicated to developing and maintaining open standards that enable interoperability between imaging devices, robotics, and software applications.
