Yet they\u2019ve all settled in and are making valuable contributions to their organizations.<\/p>\n<p>I had no knowledge of this business either when I started in this industry nearly 30 years ago. I was young, I was foolish, and I never expected to stick around as long as I have. Fortunately, I wised up over time and almost through osmosis learned a lot, forgot a lot, and have come to respect many of those in the business who keep the wheels turning and sales churning as well as serving as mentors to the young people entering the business.<\/p>\n<p>Since I completed those two articles for <em>The Cannata Report<\/em> I\u2019ve met other young people from the industry who are also making a difference. I always find it interesting how one finds their way into this industry, what they\u2019ve grown to like about it, and what they bring to their organizations. I\u2019ll bet the house that many of the people I interviewed for those Cannata Report articles are planning on staying for a long time.
