He will be joining the dealership\u2019s board of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marco has not officially named his replacement. The dealer\u2019s media relations firm did not immediately respond to an email seeking confirmation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his LinkedIn announcement, Albregts wrote, \u201cAs I transition into the role of Chairman of the Board, I want to express my deepest appreciation to the exceptional Marco team. Your unwavering dedication has truly defined our workplace, shaping it into something remarkable. This isn&#8217;t farewell; rather, it signals the beginning of another exciting adventure ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Albregts joined Marco as president in October of 2019, and later became CEO when Jeff Gau retired. Previously, he spent seven years as the CEO of Sharp, and had stints with Samsung, NEC Display and Golden Books.
