(Ricoh) and Brother International Corporation-USA (Brother) announced Wednesday that the companies have entered into a strategic alliance in the U.S. that jointly provides a comprehensive portfolio of A4 office print solutions. The companies will remain separate entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt a time when companies are faced with evolving business requirements and the need to do more with less, Ricoh found in Brother the perfect ally to bring our customers more cost-effective, secure print solutions that seamlessly integrate within existing print infrastructures,\u201d said Scott Dabice, vice president, commercial strategy and operations, Ricoh North America. \u201cThis is a win for businesses operating in hybrid and space-constrained locations, as modern A4 devices have become more capable of meeting business needs for document imaging and workflow management. Through this agreement with Brother, we are excited to now add their line of business class A4 MFPs and printers, the Workhorse Series, to complement our robust office portfolio to meet the needs of our customers and dealer partners.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Driven by the ongoing proliferation of hybrid and remote workplaces that require more compact print devices in decentralized setups, Ricoh will add the Brother Workhorse Series\u2014including all-in-one desktop and single-function printers, such as the Brother MFC-L6915DW and Brother HL-L6415DW\u2014to complement and expand its A4 portfolio, which includes award winning models like the RICOH IM C320F and RICOH P C375. With the combined power of Ricoh and Brother in its A4 print portfolio, Ricoh will create more opportunities for businesses of all sizes to acquire affordable, high-quality imaging devices that seamlessly integrate with digital workflows, and offer mobile and cloud solutions to accommodate flexible work environments.
