Datamax Inc. President Barry Simon has been named among the \u201c250 Most Influential Leaders in Arkansas\u201d for 2023 by the Arkansas Business Publishing Group, and as such, is featured in the group\u2019s special issue released this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Datamax\u2019s Little Blue Book Philosophy #6, as part of the organization\u2019s cultural agenda, reminds all employees \u201cto recognize and accept the responsibility of being an involved corporate citizen in the community.\u201d Simon has undoubtedly led that charge, serving on countless boards and volunteer initiatives for both nonprofit organizations and manufacturer groups during his Arkansas tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These include, but are certainly not limited to, chairman of the board of Centers for Youth and Family, CARTI, Young Presidents\u2019 Organization (YPO), Better Business Bureau and Riverfest, The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas, and The Children\u2019s Tumor Foundation; he has also served as chairman of the Canon USA Dealer Advisory Council and currently serves as Lexmark’s Advisory Board chairman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of this esteemed list were chosen by an Arkansas Business Publishing Group panel that combed through the state\u2019s various media outlets, and met with executives from each region and major industry, while \u201ckeeping our ears open to the good deeds and power moves of Arkansas\u2019 leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe consider many, from the CEOs of Fortune 500 companies to the rising stars making their way into industry conversations,\u201d wrote Editor Addison Freeman, in the publication\u2019s welcome letter. \u201cFrom nonprofit organizations to publicly and privately traded companies, our goal is to represent those working to propel our state into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
