But when you listen to the phraseology used by the school\u2019s alumna and current director of business development at Doing Better Business (DBB), one can almost hear the school\u2019s rally song, \u201cFight On, State,\u201d playing in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s less about sport and more centered on the desire to win. And after 18 years of serving the Altoona, Pennsylvania-based dealership in a variety of roles, winning continues to spark Noye\u2019s imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI love winning. Now that I manage a team, I love seeing them win as well,\u201d said Noye, a 2023 <em>ENX Magazine<\/em> Difference Maker. \u201cParticularly the new members I have. It is another level of excitement when they win.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noye is a prime example of the leadership being cultivated at DBB. She was a marketing intern with the dealer during her final year at Penn State, where she attained a BS in business and management. This was during a time when traditional copiers were starting to be used as printers, and Noye had the opportunity to learn more about the networking\/IT aspect of the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cultivating a love for the industry and the opportunities it presents has also driven her ability to pay it forward with the next generation of talent to enter the halls at DBB. Noye hired a pair of summer interns who, upon graduating, wanted to return on a full-time basis as outside sales reps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt validated that I must have done something right in coaching for them to want to come back. It helped me be a more confident leader,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noye has taken many leadership cues from Deb Dellaposta, president and CEO of DBB. Dellaposta, she said, is highly driven and \u201csets the bar high to be the best person you can be. I love her compassion toward members of the company and community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noye is proud of the fact that her team secured the most new business in 2022. She was impressed with their level of hard work and positivity on the heels of the pandemic, and the adjustments they made in a changed era of cold-calling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Great Adventures<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fruits of labor that Noye and her team reap are evidenced by their inclusion in DBB\u2019s president\u2019s club trips. A graduate of the Blair County Chamber Leadership Program, she\u2019s also an active participant in the Sales Leadership peer group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c[I will] always be open to learning new things and taking advice from others,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to traveling, Noye loves to work in rounds of golf during the summer. She\u2019s also embarked on some home renovations over the past year and loves seeing the transformation along the way.
