By his own admission, Thomas Chacko has never been one to focus on titles. Rather, it is his approach to tasks, projects and people\u2014an unwavering resolve based on accountability, respect and dedication toward delivering on these responsibilities as part of a unit\u2014that paints a picture of Chacko\u2019s mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is truly refreshing about Chacko\u2019s attitude toward his role as vice president of operations for GoodSuite (and really any task he\u2019s tackled during his professional career) is the gravitas he attributes to a given assignment. While many tasks and responsibilities that are performed in a given day may (for many) be considered mundane or trivial, Chacko accepts each responsibility as a \u201conce-in-a-lifetime opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally from Long Island, New York, Chacko joined the industry in 2006 as director of operations\/controller for SoCal Office Technologies, a Southern California branch of Xerox\u2019s Global Imaging Systems (GISX). The holder of an MBA in accounting from the University of Phoenix, he spent 11 years with SoCal prior to joining GoodSuite of Woodland Hills, California, in late 2017. Chacko continues to demonstrate his value as the ultimate team player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was during his time at GISX that Chacko captured the Global Manager of the Year award, which he felt was a reflection of the role his teammates and supervisors played in his success. One of the key influencers was Joyce Darson, GISX\u2019s national field director and a black belt in project management (Chacko is Lean Six Sigma certified by Villanova University).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJoyce cared about each person on the team, but always remained direct, firm and transparent,\u201d Chacko noted. \u201cHer ability to reach goals and manage all projects was impressive. She was family oriented\u2014always stopped to ask about family\u2014but extremely dedicated to supporting many objectives in various cores nationwide, even sacrificing her family time for the greater good of the organization. The past year was a busy one for Chacko, who has taken on the EOS integrator role at GoodSuite while working closely with CEO Dan Strull. He also assists the organization with acquisition integration while gleaning knowledge from company CFO Christianne Strull. The integration responsibilities are critical in enabling GoodSuite to reap a strong return on investment, and moving forward, Chacko will focus on improving systems and processes while providing the team with tools on a development or system level to enable their success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
