Cedar Rapids, IA (Jan. 16, 2020)<\/em> \u2013 In its first issue dedicated to women, the Monitor<\/em> named GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation\u2019s Tawnya Stone as one of the top 50 women in the equipment finance industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nov\/Dec issue selected the top 50 women for their \u201c\u2026industry engagement–participation in conferences, committees and volunteering–and industry leadership.\u201d The Monitor<\/em> is the longest-running publication in the equipment finance industry and has a print and digital circulation of 10,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEach woman [in this issue] has demonstrated the ability to lead and inspire others and has left an indelible mark on our industry,\u201d noted Monitor<\/em> Publisher Lisa Rafter. \u201cUntil we achieve gender parity in the C-suite and in leadership roles, women are unlikely to receive the attention and visibility they deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are proud to have one of our own honored by the Monitor<\/em>,\u201d said David Pohlman, GreatAmerica chief operating officer. \u201cThis is a testament to Tawnya\u2019s impact as a technology advocate in the equipment financing space.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stone joined GreatAmerica in 2011, quickly rising from IT Project Manager to Vice President of Strategic Technology. She is also the past President of the Managed Print Services Association and serves on the Monitor board and Equipment Leasing and Finance Association\u2019s Technology and Operations committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
