UBEO customers will now have a dedicated and reliable source for over-flow printing and other outsourced needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This acquisition, one of eight such transactions for UBEO in the last 18 months, exemplifies UBEO\u2019s commitment to the customer by providing redundancy for production services, support for record retention solutions and expertise for schools and universities. Jim Sheffield, president and CEO of UBEO, cites Copy Corner\u2019s deep ties to Bryan\/College Station as one of the factors for UBEO\u2019s interest in this move. Sheffield, a Bryan native, began his momentous printing services career while studying engineering at Texas A&amp;M University in College Station. He stays very involved in the university today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCopy Corner is a well-known business in the community that so many depend on for their printing needs,\u201d Sheffield said. \u201cHaving grown up in Bryan and studied here, I know that the community is tight-knit and values businesses with local ties. I\u2019m very familiar with the Copy Corner way of doing business, which aligns with our UBEO philosophy of putting the customer first and taking care of our employees. One of the trio, Larry Hodges, currently serves as president and is continuing in this role. The move was strategic for both companies, allowing UBEO to showcase the equipment they deal in, and expand opportunities for the Copy Corner brand, including possible new locations in additional markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis decision was made because of my long friendship and working relationship with the UBEO team,\u201d Hodges said. \u201cOne of UBEO\u2019s current team members sold us our first printer when we opened Copy Corner.
