This proactive approach is even more crucial as more Internet of Things devices \u2013 many with less than robust security protections built in \u2013 are connected to or embedded in networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proliferation of IoT devices, orchestration and automation techniques and greater reliance on cloud computing options have resulted in a greater demand for incident response skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, the complexity of the regulatory environment has complicated the job role of the cybersecurity analyst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCybersecurity pros have to understand what those regulatory standards are and how to comply with them,\u201d Lane said. \u201cIf you can be held responsible for compliance you need to understand it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information security analyst is among the occupations projected to experience strong employer demand, with growth projected at 32 percent between 2018 and 2028, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
