LIVE entertainment complex<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The ability to expand wider and deeper into relationships\nhas been a hallmark of success in the office technology universe, but it&#8217;s by\nno means relegated to the dealer space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One manufacturer that continues to leverage its relationship\nwith enterprise-level clients is Toshiba America Business Solutions, which last\nweek announced a multiyear agreement with AEG, a global sports and live\nentertainment concern, to provide its award-winning e-STUDIO multifunction\nprinters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this new agreement, brokered by AEG Global\nPartnerships, Toshiba becomes the official copier and multifunction printer\nprovider of AEG, STAPLES Center, L.A. LIVE, the LA Kings and select AEG\nPresents operated music festivals.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the fourth major agreement struck between the businesses\nsince 2014, when Toshiba became a Founding Partner and the official digital\ndisplay provider for the STAPLES Center. That pact includes Toshiba\u2019s upgrade of\nLED digital screens at L.A. LIVE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This July, AEG and Toshiba announced an extended multiyear,\nmultimillion-dollar digital signage partnership, making Toshiba the official\npartner of the LA Galaxy, and Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Model Relationship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill Melo, chief marketing executive for Toshiba, calls the\nAEG alliance a model for its collective of sports-oriented relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey are very conscientious about our needs,\u201d he said of\nAEG. \u201cIt&#8217;s not just about putting our name up in a stadium and hoping people\nsee it. AEG introduces Toshiba to some of its partners. We&#8217;ve gotten a lot of\nbusiness through the relationship that in some cases had nothing to do with AEG\nitself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve helped them on their document imaging side, reducing\ntheir costs and improving some of the things they do. We\u2019ve now done four\nseparate deals with them, and it&#8217;s a testament to how well it\u2019s worked for both\nparties.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This newest agreement underscores the growing alliance.\nCoupling performance with security, Toshiba\u2019s industry-leading systems will\nhelp AEG employees produce an array of document projects, from splashy\nmarketing materials for season ticket holders and concert-goers to internal\ndocuments for day-to-day business.
