Additionally, longtime Xerox agent Professional Business Products (PBP) signed a four-year, $1.5 million contract renewal with the largest hospital in southern West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-29747 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.enxmag.com\/twii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Pete-Peterson-247x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enxmag.com\/twii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Pete-Peterson-247x300.jpg 247w, https:\/\/www.enxmag.com\/twii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Pete-Peterson-768x935.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.enxmag.com\/twii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Pete-Peterson-842x1024.jpg 842w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 201px) 100vw, 201px\" \/>\u201cOur channel partners are looking for new ways to differentiate and grow,\u201d said Pete Peterson, president, Xerox Channels. \u201cMany are succeeding the same way Alberta Printer Service and PBP are\u2014by delivering added value with our leadership MPS, our ConnectKey technology and production devices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Capabilities and Service Levels<\/strong><br \/>\nWith a long record of success, Alberta Printer Service was the right partner to move Rocky Mountain Equipment into an MPS environment. The second largest independent dealer of Case Construction Equipment in the world will be using Xerox ConnectKey-enabled workplace assistants \u2013 161 Xerox VersaLinks serviced by the dealer and 11 Xerox AltaLinks managed via the Xerox Partner Print Services program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cXerox is our go-to partner for critical installation because of their reliability and uptime,\u201d said Louise Singer, managing partner, Alberta Printer Service. \u201cWe do the least number of service calls on Xerox machines, and that keeps our costs down.\u201d She also noted that Xerox Partner Print Services offers seamless oversight to their clients across Canada. \u201cOur MPS partnership with Xerox is a big growth area for our company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to mobile print capabilities, Rocky Mountain Equipment will improve their print facility\u2019s operations with Xerox CentreWare Web, an innovative software tool that installs, configures, monitors and reports on networked printers and multifunction devices in the enterprise \u2013 regardless of manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving Efficiencies<\/strong><br \/>\nPBP, in renewing its MPS contract at Raleigh General Hospital, added 85 AltaLink and VersaLink print devices, each with a Secure Print feature to help protect patient privacy.<\/p>\n<p>PBP also oversees the hospital\u2019s central print shop, where a Xerox Versant 180 Press and Xerox Nuvera 100 EA Production System keep more jobs in-house. The staff has also improved the printing of frequently-used hospital forms by putting them online allowing for on-demand printing \u2013 saving money and time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMPS brings order to Raleigh\u2019s print operation which is further supported by Xerox\u2019s onsite associates,\u201d said Rick Shutt, senior account executive and managed print services specialist, Professional Business Products. \u201cThey check every machine every morning and look at every single print order to find ways to cut costs.
