I may have a reputation as a music snob, but I recognize greatness when I hear it. I even bought it on vinyl. It\u2019s the <em>Tapestry<\/em> of the 21<sup>st<\/sup> century with so many great songs, including \u201cRumor Has It\u201d. But I digress, sort of.<\/p>\n<p>My subject is rumors so let\u2019s return to the imaging and office technology world and one of those rumors currently knocking around. You know, the one about Sharp? Haven\u2019t you heard, they\u2019re leaving the copier business? Well, they\u2019re not, it\u2019s just a rumor. See the story in the features section.<\/p>\n<p>I hear a lot of these rumors throughout the year, most don\u2019t pan out into anything. You probably hear them all the time too. Whether it\u2019s the one about a top executive leaving one of the major OEMs, a major OEM moving their headquarters from New Jersey to Pennsylvania, or an office technology testing company going down for the count or being sold, they\u2019re all just rumors at this point even though we\u2019ve seen over the years some of them become reality. You can choose to either pay attention to them or stick to business as usual. Me?
