Symphony will drive the Durst Tau 330 digital and packaging presses, including Durst\u2019s new Tau 330 RSC, that will be shown at Labelexpo Europe in Brussels (Sept. 25-28, Durst booth 8B26 in hall 8).<\/p>\n<p>Global Graphics is a developer of platforms for digital printing, including the Harlequin RIP, Durst is a manufacturer of advanced digital printing and production technologies.<\/p>\n<p>Durst chose Harlequin for its ability to produce high-quality output at high-speed and for its consistency and reliability. The Durst TAU 330 RSC runs at 78 lin. meters\/min for 8 color separation with 1200&#215;1200 print resolution and Harlequin\u2019s ability to render large amounts of variable data with ease ensures the most demanding print schedules can be met.<\/p>\n<p>Global Graphics BreakThrough engineering service was also a factor in Durst\u2019s decision, said Global Graphics\u2019 CEO Gary Fry, \u201cto support integration and product development.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Global Graphics worked on the project with Durst\u2019s system integrators, Prepress Digital, based in Lienz, Austria.<\/p>\n<p>Hans Peter Schneeberger, Prepress Digital\u2019s managing director, noted, \u201cHarlequin gives Durst complete autonomy over their choice of features and the degree of customization.
