The following list of error code\/descriptions are typical to see in the field and typically require Formatter replacement.<\/p>\n<p>Note: The network\/data cable should be disconnected for the following scenarios.<br \/>\nError Message: \u201cLOST COMMUNICATION &lt;DEVICE&gt; CONTROL PANEL\u201d<br \/>\nThis message will appear in several languages on the control panel and typically requires formatter replacement.<br \/>\nError Code: \u201c98.XX.XX FORMATTER ERROR\u201d<br \/>\nWith this Error Code a \u201cformat Disk\u201d and firmware update may be attempted but typically requires Formatter replacement.<br \/>\nError Code: \u201c99.09.66 NO BOOT DISK\u201d<br \/>\nIf this message appears and the boot disk has been replaced, the formatter will need to be replaced.<br \/>\nError Code 49.XX.XX<br \/>\nNetwork\/data cable disconnected with a non-recoverable 49 error will require formatter replacement.<br \/>\nPanel displaying \u201cINITILIZING\u201d (counting)<br \/>\nA working printer will display \u201cINITILIZING\u201d followed by a number count (usually reaching 60 to 80) every time it is powered on until the ready screen appears \u2013 however, if this count goes beyond 200 and continues to count, shows the formatter needs replacement.<br \/>\nLaserJet M525 Formatter: CF104-69003<br \/>\nLaserJet Flow M525C Formatter: CF105-69001<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the 2015 and 2016 year LPI has noticed an increase in formatter replacement cases for the M525 and the Flow M525C printers.
