I\u2019m not sure anyone saw this coming and while some may say this isn\u2019t that big of a story I have to disagree as this is another example of consolidation within the industry even if there wasn\u2019t a whole lot of overlap between what the two organizations were doing prior to the acquisition. Being part of the press\/analyst contingent at industry events it was only a matter of time before an over-crowded consulting\/analyst community started consolidating, particularly those organizations who are competing for dollars from the OEMs. C\u2019mon now, there\u2019s only so many dollars to go around.
