First-ever extended-yield tracking in non-OEM cartridges will change how MPS dealers profit in supplies management.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fort Worth, TX, November 10, 2015 \u2013<\/em> ECi Software Solutions (www.ECiSolutions.com<\/a>), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, today announced the worldwide availability of its patent-pending technology for tracking the true value of aftermarket extended yield toner cartridges. ECi, developer of market-leading FMAudit\u00ae managed print services solutions, and Static Control, the world\u2019s leading manufacturer of chip technology for the aftermarket industry, have embarked on an exclusive technology alliance to provide this offering to customers using Static Control\u2019s patented extended yield chip technology and FMAudit\u2019s Central v4.0, featuring patent-pending tracking technology.<\/p>\n

Without this unique solution, a printer cannot distinguish between OEM or aftermarket extended yield toner cartridges. As such, end users are notified prematurely to replace the cartridge, often discarding upwards of 50% of the remaining toner.
