Fort Worth, TX\u2014<\/em>Thursday, June 11, 2015<\/em> –<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0ECi Software Solutions today announced its inaugural Everyday Hero contest<\/a> to recognize outstanding community service among ECi\u2019s customer base. The contest will draw nominations from ECi\u2019s customers and their employees who are making a difference in their communities through the contribution of time, effort, assistance and support. The grand prize winner\u2019s charity of choice will receive a donation from ECi of $5,000 and the winning company or individual will receive a cash prize of $500. The winner will be revealed during ECi\u2019s 2015 Connect Conference at Walt Disney World\u00ae<\/em> Resort, which takes place November 9\u201311. Selection of the finalists and winner will be made by a panel of judges consisting of ECi employees and partners.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so excited about the Everyday Hero contest,\u201d said Traci Johnson, SVP of Global Corporate Marketing. \u201cIt has been a dream of ECi\u2019s to create a program that would celebrate our customers and help support their local communities.\u00a0 On a daily basis we hear inspiring stories of how our customers supported someone else and through this contest we will be able to recognize those efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n

To be considered for the Everyday Hero award, a business or individual\u2019s story must be submitted via the Connect Conference site<\/a>, along with any photos, videos, or articles about their mission. Participants are encouraged to nominate themselves, it is not required that recognition come from a third party. In addition to cash prizes, the three finalists will receive free registration and accommodation for Connect 2015. Submissions must be received by 5:00 p.m. CDT, August 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n
