I don&#8217;t know much more than you know from reading the above link.\u00a0Thus, I&#8217;m not sure if the equipment is new used, used or refurbished.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe this is something similar to MFP seat licensing?\u00a0 My pals over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.printaudit.com\/premier\/7-deadly-sins-office-equipment-dealers\/\">Print Audit<\/a> brought up an interesting scenario for Managed Print Services and billing the customer by the seat and not by the click.\u00a0 Of course this got\u00a0me thinking about many what\u00a0if scenarios and why can&#8217;t the same be done with MFP&#8217;s? Of course you would have to have some buy in from the leasing companies, right?<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have all of the answers or logistics worked out, but it would be an interesting discussion to have.\u00a0 Of course you would have users (seats) that would print many pages and then you&#8217;d have users that would print very little.<\/p>\n<p>Could we\u00a0charge one dollar per page per minute for the device?\u00a0 Thus a 40 ppm device would be billed at $40 per seat.\u00a0Ten seats would generate revenue of $400 per month.
