Mount Laurel, NJ, April 28, 2015 –<\/em> OKI Data Americas announces availability of new high performance, A4 multifunction printers (MFPs) to the BTA channel including \u2013 the MPS3537mc+, MPS4242mc+, and MPS5502mb+. Available in four monochrome and five color configurations, cumulatively, these enhanced devices feature a number of improvements including capabilities with Apple\u00ae AirPrint\u2122 for iOS\u2122 compatibility, Adobe\u00ae Systems (PDF\/A) portable document formatting embedded into scan functions, compliance with Mac\u00ae OS X\u00ae Yosemite, and an upgraded on-site parts and labor warranty of three years.<\/p>\n

The MPS3537mc+ and MPS4242mc+ color and MPS5502mb+ monochrome series devices will utilize the latest open API iteration of the smart Extendable Platform (sXP) to support OKI\u2019s expanding suite of print management, document capture and document management solutions. This new platform \u2013 to be introduced this summer \u2013 will offer additional functionality for developers to build unique solution applications for OKI smart MFPs.<\/p>\n

With these devices, OKI Data also announces the inclusion of two new document management solutions: ABBYY FineReader\u00ae Sprint OCR (Optical Character Recognition) for file search and conversion, and the cloud-based SENDYS Explorer\u2122 LITE connector.<\/p>\n

ABBYY FineReader Sprint OCR enables users to quickly and easily convert paper documents, as well as PDF files and images, into edit and search friendly text in 190 different languages. SENDYS Explorer LITE \u00a0manages documents with server-based software and can be used with all OKI smart MFPs. The solution offers users the ability to capture documents from various sources with the ability to convert, distribute or upload them to a chosen location, providing greater flexibility to edit, access, print, retrieve and share files.<\/p>\n
