This is the 12th acquisition that the company has completed over the past two and a half years. In October of last year, Marco purchased Illinois Valley Business Equipment in Peru, Bloomington and Peoria, Illinois.<br \/>\nSince 2009, the company has grown from 270 employees to over 890 employees and now has 42 locations nationally. Fifty-five percent of that growth has come through Marco\u2019s existing customer base and forty-five percent has been through acquisitions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur acquisition strategy is to buy similar companies in locations where Marco doesn\u2019t already have a presence,\u201d said Marco CEO Jeff Gau. \u201cWe look forward to continuing BBE\u2019s commitment to satisfying their clients and expanding the business IT services we can offer them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BBE has been in business for 47 years and serves over 1,400 customers.
