IDC Research report ranks Canon number one with 36 percent share of inkjet continuous feed market<\/em><\/p>\n

MELVILLE, N.Y., March 4, 2015\u00a0\u2013<\/em> Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon\u00a0U.S.A., Inc. today announced that Canon has been named by International Data Corporation (IDC), the\u00a0premier global provider of market intelligence, as the U.S. continuous feed market share leader with a\u00a036 percent share.\u00a0 IDC released its findings today in its report, U.S. Production Environment 2014 Vendor\u00a0Shares, document #254595, published March 2015.<\/p>\n

Part of the gain can be attributed to Canon\u2019s well-deserved reputation for technology innovation,\u00a0including Oc\u00e9 DigiDot\u00ae inkjet technology, Oc\u00e9 Ink Control, and the Oc\u00e9 ColorStream\u00ae Twin Series inkjet\u00a0printer. Market share numbers could grow as the Company rolls out its newest product innovations this\u00a0year. The Oc\u00e9 ImageStream\u2122 3500, which won a MUST SEE \u2019EM Award at GRAPH EXPO 2014, is a full-color continuous feed inkjet press that can print on standard offset-coated stock without the use of\u00a0inkjet treatments. The recently introduced Oc\u00e9 VarioPrint\u00ae i300 inkjet printer, the first high-speed,\u00a0sheetfed inkjet press in Canon\u2019s portfolio, opens up an entirely new category in cutsheet inkjet.<\/p>\n
