Called thINK, the group will hold its first conference September 8-10, 2015 in New York,\u00a0NY at Canon Expo.<\/p>\n<p>The user group is a natural outgrowth of the advisory groups Canon Solutions America has sponsored\u00a0over the past few years. Participants felt the time was right to develop a larger forum where more\u00a0Canon Solutions America customers could network, gain knowledge, stay abreast of technological\u00a0advancements, and discuss common challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur customers were the driving force for this user group, and it is being led by some of the most\u00a0successful inkjet service providers in the country,\u201d said Eric Hawkinson, director of Marketing,\u00a0Production Print Solutions division of Canon Solutions America. \u201cAs the leader in both continuous feed\u00a0and cutsheet inkjet, we are proud to support our customers in this effort. We believe this user group will\u00a0provide long-lasting benefits to the entire print industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Spreading Success<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ten Canon Solutions America customers representing print leaders across market segments comprise\u00a0the steering committee, which began meeting in April of 2014 to shape the group\u2019s direction, goals, and\u00a0educational objectives. Its focus is on innovation, best practices, and delivering team-encompassing,\u00a0world-class education that will engage business owners, sales teams, production teams, and graphic\u00a0designers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an honor to be part of this process,\u201d said Mark DeBoer, director of Customer Experience at Darwill,\u00a0Inc., and a member of the steering committee. \u201cThe inkjet innovations coming out of Canon Solutions\u00a0America have allowed Darwill to take on new applications, tackle more complex projects, and transform\u00a0our business.
