Kodak Business Process Scanners Compatible with Document Management System<\/em><\/p>\n

New Windsor NY, December 19, 2014<\/em> \u2013 DocuWare Corporation, a global leader in the integrated\u00a0document management industry, announced today that the Kodak Alaris SCANMATE i1150 and i1180\u00a0have been tested and certified with DocuWare\u2019s latest version of their software, Version 6.6.<\/p>\n

The testing process came about through DocuWare\u2019s participation in the Kodak Alaris ISV Alliance\u00a0Program designed to ensure compatibility by providing support for solution providers that develop\u00a0software that interacts with Kodak Alaris solutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ISV Alliance program enabled DocuWare to run the new Kodak ScanMate i1150 and ScanMate\u00a0i1180 through testing paces and confirmed they were compatible with our software and had the\u00a0throughput we expected.\u00a0This program gives our joint customers the confidence to trust in DocuWare\u00a0and Kodak Alaris technologies to help improve their business process efficiencies every day,\u201d said Steve\u00a0Behm, DocuWare Vice President of Sales, Americas.<\/p>\n

Both desktop scanners quickly and easily integrate with DocuWare software allowing users to\u00a0effortlessly turn paper documents into digital files. Documents are scanned in color, black and white, or\u00a0grayscale and simultaneously shared via email, stored on the network, saved on USB drives, sent to\u00a0networked printers and copiers, or transmitted to a network folder that DocuWare monitors,\u00a0automatically delivering scanned images to a virtual \u2018in basket\u2019 for further processing.<\/p>\n

The SCANMATES provide color scanning up to 40 pages per minute (ppm) and Kodak Alaris’ Perfect Page\u00a0technology includes state of the art enhancement functions that improve the image quality of scanned\u00a0documents. These digital images provide a fully searchable PDFA for filing in DocuWare.<\/p>\n
