I haven\u2019t, but that\u2019s because I haven\u2019t made any this year. Avoidance is always a safe way to go when it comes to New Year\u2019s resolutions.<\/p>\n<p>As far as New Year\u2019s resolutions for <em>ENX<\/em> and <em>The Week in Imaging<\/em>, Susan and I are planning on becoming more social in 2015, leveraging the use of social media and continuing to publish more relevant content in print and digitally throughout 2015. It\u2019s what we do well, although we both acknowledge there\u2019s always room for enhancements.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of New Year\u2019s resolutions, the past two months I\u2019ve been asking office imaging dealers from across the country to share with <em>ENX<\/em> readers their dealership\u2019s New Year\u2019s resolutions for 2015. Here\u2019s what a few of them had to say.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRemove the term MIF (machines in field) from our collective vocabulary and replace it with the term TIF (technology in field). While a client\u2019s MFP needs are important to us, so is their IT infrastructure, phone systems, document management, workflow, and security (data and property) needs.\u201d Barry Clark, Perry proTech, Lima, OH<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery individual on the sales team will have a quota for every product that we sell in 2015. We will be quicker to respond to deficiencies against quotas in 2015. We will be better about following our strategic plan for 2015.\u201d <em>Kevin McCarthy, Modern Office Methods, Cincinnati, OH\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have three big pushes for 2015. Getting the sales team focused back on profitability and contribution margin as opposed to just winning every deal, getting more Managed IT Services accounts, and an internal culture campaign designed to promote every staff member&#8217;s personal pride in WPS along with the fact that they have a true impact upon our success. \u00a0The theme is \u2018Raise your sails, it\u2019s your ship!\u2019\u201d <em>Joseph Dellaposta, WPS, Inc., Hagerstown, MD<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt TGI our New Year\u2019s Resolutions\u00a0 are to handle requests with a \u2018yes if\u2019 instead of \u2018no because\u2019 policy. Internally and externally, we want to be open minded to the needs and ideas of our people and clients. We are now in our eighth year in document management software, fourth year in MPS,\u00a0third year in IT Services, and this past year we are experiencing good growth in the digital signage market.
