Melville, NY, November 20, 2014<\/em> \u2013 Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc, announced today that three Oc\u00e9 Arizona\u00ae series printer models received the Specialty Graphic & Imaging Association (SGIA) Product of the Year Award, marking the eighth year in a row that an Oc\u00e9 Arizona Series printer has been honored with this award since the product line began shipping in 2007. The awards were presented at the SGIA Expo held October 22-24 in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/p>\n

The Oc\u00e9 Arizona series printers won in the following categories:

Product of the Year is awarded based on a comparison of outputs from competing devices using a common test file designed by SGIA. The prints are reviewed by a panel of judges, each with a background and expertise in digital printing and imaging. The judges look for color appeal, detail and tonality, and the output is also judged on how closely it matches the test print. These printers and more were all showcased at the Canon Solutions America booth during SGIA Expo.<\/p>\n

“Canon Solutions America’s booth was a great source of cutting-edge technology and information that provided an interesting look into where the company sees the industry going,” said Richard Romano, senior analyst for WhatTheyThink.com. “Booth visitors got to see high-quality equipment in action producing high-value print products, while gaining insight into all the other services and solutions that Canon Solutions America offers.”<\/p>\n

Latest Members of the Oc\u00e9 Arizona Series Family<\/strong>
\nThe Oc\u00e9 Arizona 6100 series printers made their worldwide debut earlier this year at FESPA in Munich, Germany and were introduced to the U.S. market in May. The new UV flatbed printer series was purposely built for higher-volume production. The new printer series features an extra-large 8 x10 foot vacuum table with two independent printing zones, allowing for simultaneous printing as well as media loading\/unloading.<\/p>\n
