In 2015, Muratec made a move to bring mid-volume, narrow web, premium label devices to their dealer channel. Soon after that product introduction, Clearman was asked to lead a sales and support team that would educate the field and help them understand and connect the relationship between labels and packaging and traditional cutsheet printing. In 2017, Muratec America Inc. was acquired by Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc., where labels and packaging were also a focus for new sales opportunities.
