DEX Imaging strikes again! The Tampa, Florida-based dealer quietly completed a pair of deals, including one for a member of the 2023 Elite Dealer roster. Meanwhile, out west, EO Johnson Business Technologies recently finalized an acquisition that will strengthen its Iowa position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most notable for DEX was its acquisition of Valley Office Systems, a repeat Elite Dealer honoree in Boise, Idaho, whose owners, Colleen and Howard Hansen, were profiled on the cover of ENX Magazine<\/em>‘s October 2022 issue. We’ll start with the EO Johnson deal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EO Johnson Business Technologies has acquired Koch Office Group with offices in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, IA. The move expands EO Johnson’s imaging, business technology, and digital transformation footprint in the Midwest. The acquisition was finalized Feb. 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Locknet Managed IT, an EO Johnson Company and managed security service provider, already serves the Iowa market. With the acquisition of Koch Office Group, EO Johnson expands their full line of product and service offerings into Iowa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Companies that rely on Koch Office Group for their Canon, HP, and Ricoh imaging equipment needs will continue to receive the highest level of customer support and have access to the expanded range of services offered by EO Johnson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEX Imaging-Valley Office Systems<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neither company released information, but the deal\u2014reported by Industry Analysts\u2014was confirmed by Valley Office Systems. The Idaho Falls, Idaho-based firm, which offers Sharp, Ricoh, Kyocera and HP products, reported sales of $25 million-plus last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IA also reported that DEX closed on a deal to obtain 360 Office Solutions of Billings, Montana. 360, an MPS specialist, carries multiple lines, including Ricoh and HP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
