\"Reminder\"<\/a>I cannot tell you how many times I have to remind my son to clean his room before it actually happens.\u00a0 I don\u2019t understand it. As a kid, I always cleaned my room. I couldn\u2019t stand the disorder. Unfortunately, in this case, the apple fell pretty far from the tree. It\u2019s not unusual to find checks from his uncle or grandmother buried behind his computer months after he received them.<\/p>\n

The reason I bring that up is because with what\u2019s likely a long weekend coming up for many of you, I feel I should send out another subtle reminder about the 2013 Elite Dealer awards. Nomination forms are due on Sept. 6, and even though you still have plenty of time, there\u2019s no time like the present to start filling them out or at least thinking about it. As I\u2019ve mentioned to some of you in e-mails and phone conversations, there\u2019s no need to reinvent the wheel either, you can take what you submitted last year and update it with your most recent information.<\/p>\n

This year I\u2019m taking it a step further. If you need help telling your story and filling these forms out send me an e-mail or give me a call. Just as I often end up helping my son clean his room (to be honest, I do most of it myself because I just can\u2019t take it anymore). I can guide you through the process via telephone or we can talk and you can give me the information and I\u2019ll do the rest.<\/p>\n
