This includes promoting greater awareness of the benefits of apprenticeship, fostering increased alignment between apprenticeship opportunities and workforce and education systems, expanding apprenticeship into new industries and occupations and ensuring equity for under-represented populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMany employers, especially in the tech community, are uncertain that an apprenticeship program is right for them,&#8221; Kardel said. \u201cBut once they understand the benefits of developing a predictable, skilled talent pipeline they are hooked. Just as important, apprenticeships create opportunities for a broader group of individuals to have access quality career opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The advisory committee is holding its first virtual meeting on Oct. 6.
