He was 67.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enxmag.com\/twii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Purdie-Scott-200x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35251\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.enxmag.com\/twii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Purdie-Scott-200x200.jpg 200w, http:\/\/www.enxmag.com\/twii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Purdie-Scott-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><figcaption>Scott Purdie<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Purdie\u2019s death was announced in an email to Muratec\ndealers from company President Jim D\u2019Emidio. \u201cIt is with profound sadness to\ninform you of Scott Purdie\u2019s passing,\u201d he wrote. \u201cEveryone at Muratec is\nshocked and in grief about the sudden passing of Scott.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After serving as a regional vice president for Fujitsu\/Danka\nOffice Imaging from 1987-1995, Mr. Purdie became a western regional sales\nmanager for NEC. He also served a two-year stint as general manager for OMI\nInc. prior to joining Muratec in 1997.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biking was one of Mr. Purdie\u2019s greatest passions. He was a\ndevoted husband, father and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day\nSaints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Debbie, and three grown\nchildren, Chad, Jennifer and Justin.\n\nA celebration of Mr. Purdie\u2019s life will be held\nFriday, July 19, 6 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,\n6655 East Preston St., Mesa, Arizona.
