As much as I love speaking with and appreciate the cooperation of the usual suspects, it\u2019s always a pleasure to interview somebody I haven\u2019t interviewed before. Those new connections tend to add so much to the many articles I write and are often the beginning of a long-term relationship. That\u2019s why I\u2019m often surprised when I get turned down for an interview as I was in a recent e-mail to a contact at one of last year\u2019s Elite Dealers who told that no one could speak with me because they were recently acquired by Global Imaging and all interview requests have to be approved by Global so don\u2019t bother contacting them for interviews. (I\u2019m paraphrasing by the way.) This can\u2019t be right, can it? It\u2019s something I haven\u2019t experienced before with other Global dealerships. Maybe something is going on that I don\u2019t know about.
