As you read this I\u2019m in London on vacation and will soon be on my way to Paris. It\u2019s one of those once in a lifetime vacations seeing London and Paris during the holiday season. I wrote this a week before I left so I hope I\u2019m having a good time.<\/p>\n

This week I\u2019m excited to present the first group of 2012 industry highlights. I asked more than 50 companies and organizations related to the imaging and office technology industry to share their most significant accomplishment or highlight of 2012. Not everyone has responded to my request yet, and I thank those that did. If you haven\u2019t, there\u2019s still time as long as I receive it by Dec. 19 you\u2019ll make the Dec. 28 edition of The Week in Imaging<\/em>. With the hustle and bustle of the holidays upon us and the year winding down, these highlights that I\u2019m presenting over the next few weeks make for a quick read and present a nice recap of what many of the industry\u2019s players accomplished in 2012.<\/p>\n
