The first group develops and maps out an idea\u2019s strategy, while the second follows through on the execution. He has a rich tapestry of experience, from managing the All Covered services portfolio to identifying market opportunities that advance Konica Minolta\u2019s aggressive growth strategy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I find most rewarding is being part of a team that is helping transform the industry, bringing together the best of the IT and document industries and doing it across a broad range of different dealers,\u201d Pegley explains.<\/p>\n<p>The multitalented Briton began cutting his teeth in the computer business in the 1980s, roughly coinciding with the onset of personal computers in business and the earliest networking technologies. Pegley obtained his MBA in France, where he started his own company and plied his craft for seven years.<\/p>\n<p>Pegley came to the United States in 1997, where he worked for a router vendor, and nine years later he joined the All Covered crew in San Francisco. When All Covered was acquired by Konica Minolta in 2010, Pegley began his wide-ranging journey within the organization, assuming leadership roles across both the IT and MFP solutions businesses, \u201cbringing those worlds closer together,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p>One of Pegley\u2019s biggest influences is Todd Croteau, president of the All Covered IT Services division. Pegley admires Croteau\u2019s intuition for the business and has garnered insight from his attention to detail and frankness when it comes to challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTodd stresses that being a values-based company is critical to success and that means living the values every day,\u201d Pegley said.<\/p>\n<p>One of the mantras Pegley lives by is the importance of picking the right people for the team, giving them the goals and tools to do the job and the space to get it done. Perhaps that was reflected in the integration of the All Covered IT Services business into the core of Konica Minolta, which Pegley believes has been a rousing success that has provided handsome returns.<\/p>\n<p>Moving forward, Pegley\u2019s goal is to leverage the success enjoyed in the United States and enable Konica Minolta to replicate it globally. \u201cI have lived and worked on two continents and traveled to many other countries and can bring an international perspective to problem-solving\u001b and collaboration, as well as bringing back ideas from other countries to our business here,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Paranoia is a healthy cure for complacency, as Pegley\u2019s team loves to obsess with how it can help improve business. \u201cStarting with our clients and dealers, we look at all the different elements of their journey with us and try to make incremental improvements at each step,\u201d Pegley adds.<\/p>\n<p>Nick Pegley and his wife are the parents of two grown sons.
