The ability to skip a triggered alert simply helps keep fulfillment costs low by eliminating unnecessary supply shipments,\u201d added Dawson.<\/p>\n<p>Activating Print Tracker\u2019s Skip Alert feature enables dealers to enter the number of cartridges available in the customer\u2019s safety stock. When an alert is triggered, Print Tracker automatically checks if the alert should be skipped. If so, a status note such as \u201cBlack toner level &lt;= 25 SKIPPED\u201d is added in the device\u2019s alert log along with a \u201cLast Skipped Date\u201d to provide indication the triggered alert has been processed.<\/p>\n<p>The feature can also be used when customers call the dealer, asking them to not ship a supply because of stock on hand. In addition, dealers no longer need to have their technicians configure devices to notify when supplies are truly needed.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSkip Alert\u201d enhancement adds to Print Tracker\u2019s already impressive array of alerting ability. Dealers can:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Set fleet alerts at levels they desire;<br \/>\n\u2022 Set specific device alerting at levels different from the main fleet;<br \/>\n\u2022 Route supply and service alerts to separate and specific addresses;<br \/>\n\u2022 Get notification of premature cartridge replacement (PCR) when supplies are changed before thresholds are met;<br \/>\n\u2022 Receive notification of excessive toner use; and<br \/>\n\u2022 Enable volume alerting for devices that do not report accurate toner levels.<\/p>\n<p>Print Tracker continues to provide dealers and IT departments with a modular approach to their MPS programs.
