\"ViewsA few weeks ago, I was digging deep into Linkedin just to see what’s new.\u00a0I didn’t find much, however, I did notice that I’ve been a Linkedin user since 2005.\u00a0Over the years I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly on Linkedin.\u00a0 There’s a lot more good, than the bad, and ugly!<\/p>\n

Here’s my top 5 “dislikes” from users:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Users who post puzzles or word games.<\/li>\n
  2. Users that post a graphic with a quote and nothing else; let’s communicate people!<\/li>\n
  3. Users that just re-post or re-share a thread\u00a0and have nothing to say.<\/li>\n
  4. Users who post pictures of beautiful places in the world. That\u2019s because I’m not there enjoying the same view.<\/li>\n
  5. Holiday Greetings for all of their clients. Spend a few bucks and send a card. We are<\/em> in the imaging business, right?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here’s my top 5 “likes” from users<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Linkedin Pulse. I admire all of those that take the time and thought to post an article\/blog.\u00a0Most of the information shared is priceless.<\/li>\n
    2. Updates from connections about what’s new and different.<\/li>\n
    3. Users that take the time to read what was posted and then post a comment along with the share.<\/li>\n
    4. Pictures of beautiful places in the world because I want to be there too someday.<\/li>\n
    5. Users who post relevant\u00a0and thought provoking threads on a consistent basis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      For me, Linkedin is a daily ritual much like the Print4Pay Hotel.\u00a0With more than 2,000 connections it can take 20 minutes or so to view my wall on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

      I don’t use Linkedin that much to get appointments. More often Linkedin is a research tool for me. I will research the company, the client, and see their connections. In many cases there’s someone on the list that we both know or do business with.\u00a0In some cases, I’ve seen some of my competitors that the client is connected with.\u00a0This gives me excellent insight as to who the competition might be in the future.<\/p>\n
