The software powerhouse, which seems to be growing by leaps and bounds as the result of acquisitions, did an exceptional job of creating a diverse program of sessions that encompassed all of its many solutions. In addition, the event featured informative sessions on sales prospecting, digital marketing, and social networking via Linkedin that appealed to a broad audience.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not easy being a company with so many different software solutions under one umbrella, but ECi seems to have successfully integrated\u00a0the many acquisitions it has made over the last decade or so as it continues to maintain its leadership position as the office products\u2019 industry\u2019s leading software vendor.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the software-specific sessions were geared towards daily users of the products whether they be office products and office technology dealers or manufacturing customers of its M1 ERP. For those who fit squarely within these demographics, they more than likely left each of those technical and product sessions with a stronger understanding of what that specific solution can do for them and their organization. I\u2019m more of a casual Linkedin user, but after sitting through that session I learned a thing or two as far as ways that I can better use this handy business tool. From a sales perspective, which much of Breitbarth\u2019s presentation was focused on, the information was priceless.<\/p>\n<p>Equally informative, particularly to those attendees whose websites could use a refresh, a session on Website Design Trends for 2016 hosted by Structured Web offered a wealth of useful information and tips for improving their organization\u2019s websites. I picked up a few tips myself.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a user of one of the many ECi software solutions and looking to gain a better understanding of the software or to receive a heads up on new features and functionality, the ECi Connect conference is not to be missed. In fact you might want to put next year\u2019s conference on your calendar now.
