Other panelists included Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises, and Kevin Smith, President and Chief Operating Officer of Best of Care, Inc.Ed Tarlow, President of the Family Business Association, said, \u201cSuccessfully transitioning a business from one generation to the next requires skill and careful planning. We assembled an excellent team for this presentation, and thank them for their time and efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Belanger, a Norwell, MA resident, is second generation in the business that his father, Ray Belanger, Sr., launched in 1972 under the name Bay State Business Machines. Over the years, the company has evolved in its technology and is a leading provider of document imaging and management solutions throughout the region. The firm celebrated its 40th anniversary several years ago with a celebration attended by industry, local and state officials.
