DM hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the expansion on May 29th and began moving product into the new space on June 1st.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe celebration was not only to acknowledge and show appreciation for our past success, but to also observe our decisive commitment to becoming bigger and broader in the future,\u201d said Sean Fleming, CEO. \u201cThe added space will support both of our business divisions including equipment and product line expansion within the Supplies Network business portfolio, as well as much needed space for our quickly expanding DM Fulfillment customer base.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis space will be used for high-velocity, small package order fulfillment along with LTL shipments and some bulk storage, ideal for the Omni-channel demands we face in today\u2019s market,\u201d explained Rick Goe, VP of Supply Chain. \u201cWe expect this facility to steadily increase the number of orders processed daily through its highly-automated systems and experienced staff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fleming added, \u201cDM is primed for organic growth and anticipates acquisitions within the next five years that will result in further expansion of its national distribution footprint.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>DM hosted supply chain vendors, the distribution center staff and company\u2019s executive team at the ribbon cutting celebration.
