Amherst, NY, June 1, 2015 \u2013<\/em> International Imaging Materials, Inc. (IIMAK), a global leader in the development and manufacture of printing, imaging, and marking consumables announces the acquisition of American Ink Jet Corporation (AIJC), effective June 1, 2015. This includes all formulas, brands, manufacturing assets and processes from AIJ to produce and distribute inkjet inks used for wide-format & desktop printers. Michael Andreottola, former AIJ President and CEO, has joined IIMAK to focus on new product development.<\/p>\n

This move positions IIMAK for continued growth in inkjet markets. \u201cSpecialty graphics and imaging technologies fit nicely with our core competencies in production and distribution,\u201d stated Scott Surma, IIMAK Vice President of New Business Development. \u201cWe will maintain the highest level of product quality and consistency, and invest in wide format inks to meet the demanding requirements of graphic applications.\u201d<\/p>\n
