In his new role, Sheridan will oversee the service functions of the company, including the service department, warehouse operations, and dispatching. These duties will include reviewing and evaluating the P&L (purchase and loss) status of service departments, maintenance contract pricing, and contract renewals. His previous role as service manager has been filled by William Miceli, and the two will work together closely overseeing these departments. Sheridan’s responsibilities will include the company’s Illinois and Indiana locations.

He began his career with Pulse Technology while he was in high school when the company was known as Des Plaines Office Equipment. Sheridan’s first role was to rebuild fuser units, and then he began working on equipment setups in the office. Upon graduation, he worked full-time in roles including doing service calls, and then team leader. From there he was promoted to service manager, and most recently, service director. He has been in a management role for the last 20 years.

During his career at Pulse Technology, he has acquired numerous certifications on machines and has taken numerous courses through company-sponsored management schools.

The Des Plaines native enjoys a number of outside activities, including having been a Cub Scout Pack Leader with his son’s troop. He also enjoys volleyball in his spare time. Other hobbies include walking, and woodworking.

He resides in Bartlett with his wife Suzanne, and their three children: Savannah, a licensed cosmetologist; Luke, a community college student; and Crystal, a high school student in band and serves as a lifeguard. Sheridan has also been a winner of Pulse Technology’s “President’s Club” six different times. The President’s Club rewards top performing employees with company trips, the most recent one being last year at Hawks Cay Resort in Duck Key, Florida.

Chip Miceli, CEO of Pulse Technology, said, “Stephen has been a part of our Pulse family for more than four decades and has been a part of our company’s growth and success. We know he will do a great job in this new role.”
