Ricoh Government Cloud Achieves FedRAMP Ready Status

Malvern, PA (Feb. 20, 2018) — Ricoh USA Inc. announced that it achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Ready status for its eDiscovery cloud hosting solution, specifically for their Relativity document processing and review environment.

Achieving FedRAMP Ready serves as a market indicator to federal agencies that a system has a high likelihood of obtaining a Joint Authorization Board Provisional Authorization (JAB P-ATO) or an Agency ATO. Therefore, agencies can be confident that Ricoh Government Cloud has the key capabilities needed to fit their security needs. Agencies can then better decide to select a cloud solution based on the understanding that the system meets FedRAMP Ready requirements. This impressive accomplishment demonstrates Ricoh’s commitment to enabling the digital workplace for their customers by providing secured, advanced document hosting services, in accordance with strict federal government requirements.

“The need for trusted and secured cloud-hosting environments has never been more imperative. Building on 18 months of hard work to obtain our FedRAMP Ready status, we are excited to expand our partnership with federal government agencies, as they continue to deal with massive volumes of data,” said David Levine, chief information security officer, Ricoh USA Inc. “This latest accomplishment also validates what our existing customers in the private sector experience every day: Ricoh’s expertise in digital security, and our capacity to operate as a dependable, trusted partner.”

With its FedRAMP Ready status, Ricoh plans on pursuing a FedRAMP Agency Authorization.
