RISO Showcasing ComColor GD Series, T2 at PRINT 17

Burlington, MA (Aug. 15, 2017) — RISO Inc. will be exhibiting its full array of its inkjet printers at Booth 3213 of PRINT 17 this Sept. 10-14 in Chicago. The showcased product will be the RISO T2, a high-speed duplexing device that can achieve up to 320 color impressions per minute. Originally shown as a prototype at last year’s DRUPA and Orlando’s Graph Expo 2016, the T2 is intended as a solution for the high-volume transactional printing market.

Also featured at the booth will be several configurations of the ComColor GD Series of professional inkjet: a high-speed, full-color printer that uses the company’s patented FORCEJETTM Technology and a unique five-color print matrix. The fifth ink, gray, results in an exceptional gray scale print quality, truer reproduction of flesh tones, and denser blacks.

The GD Series devices come with an embedded GDI and offers an optional production RIP with a Fiery-enabled digital front end developed specifically for RISO, Inc. by EFI called the ComColorExpress FS2000C. Long recognized as the world leader in digital duplicators and an innovator of inkjet printing technology, the ComColor GD and FW series are the fifth generation of inkjet printer. The ComColor series is renowned for high productivity, energy efficiency and reliability.
