Continuum Technical Roadshow To Hit 10 US Cities

BOSTON – March 3, 2016 – Continuum®, the IT management platform company, is hosting a technical roadshow for its Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform and Continuity247™, its fully managed backup and disaster recovery (BDR) platform in March and April at 10 locations across the U.S. Conducted by Continuum University, the free hands-on training provides the company’s MSP partners with up-to-date, in depth information on the latest product features to ensure maximum value of Continuum’s IT management platform. The RMM platform is covered in the morning session; the benefits and best practices of Continuity247 are covered in the afternoon. Partners may register to attend one or both sessions.

The session, “RMM Essentials,” dives into Continuum’s RMM tool to focus on monitoring and alerting, patching and scripting. Partners learn how to utilize Continuum’s streamlined Alert Suspension process to suspend alerts and alert families for desktops and servers. Attendees also investigate advanced monitoring features such as Mail Monitoring. At the conclusion, partners will have a handful of custom scripts they have created and can start running on client sites, including the installation of Microsoft Office.

In the Continuity247 session, the technical features and benefits of Continuum’s backup solution is reviewed in detail, including best practices when protecting servers. Partners learn how to manage cloud storage, set bandwidth throttling and perform different disaster recovery tasks in the demo portion of the training. There will be a “sneak peek” at the Continuity247 2.0 user interface.

Continuum University offers self-paced, interactive online training for Continuum’s IT management platform. Continuum’s IT certification program includes four specialist certificates – Administration Specialist, RMM Specialist, Help Desk Activation Specialist and Backup Specialist. All four certifications are required to become a Continuum Certified IT Expert. Continuum U has certified more than 1,000 IT technicians.
