Broken Cartridge Support Assembly

Model: HP Color LaserJet 4600 and 4650 Printer Series

Issue: Broken Cartridge Support Assembly

On the right and left side of the toner cartridge there are support assemblies that apply downward pressure to keep the cartridge in place.

If broken, symptoms can include:

- Light print on either right or left side

- No print from the black cartridge

- Printer is displaying: "Install Black Cartridge" message

Solution:

Replace the cartridge support assembly. This part number is not available in the service documentation but can be ordered using the spare part number: RG5-6457-000CN.
